Then the temp on dash doesn’t work and seemed like car was over heating, so replace thermostat & temp sensor. Now Car warms up in cabin, temp on dash works and code gone. Car is still rough idle and all , like explained earlier. Scanned and a new code popped up p0306, misfire cylinder #6. Gave a couple revs to get it not to rough idle.

Service Engine Soon – Other than the heater not working, the only other symptom of P0128 is typically the service engine soon light itself. Slight Decrease in fuel economy – The P0128 code may also lead to a slight decrease in fuel economy. This is because your Astra’s engine is running at a cooler temperature than it should be.
It comes from a device in the fuse box called the multitimer. This device also supplies power to all other bulbs that are controlled by the dimmer, such as the heater controls and info display. It could also be a stuck-open thermostat, sending coolant through the radiator even though the car is not warmed up; or: It could be an air-lock in the coolant hoses somewhere.

The dial moves and clicks correctly but the motor refuses to spin. Engine seems ok and there is no loss of coolant. No airlock as was working fine before. Checked Fuses all seems OK..

No door would lock, the radio would stay on and when you opened a door it would beep as though the keys were still in. I tried everything, batteries, resetting fob etc. the only thing that would work was disconnecting the battery for an hour, it would lock a
